Biography
Born in Cairo, Egypt, I come from a family with deep roots in Jewish tradition—my father and uncles studied under Rav Ovadia Yosef, and my uncle, Meyer Cohen, was one of his closest students. My journey began at a Sephardic Talmud Torah in New York, followed by Yeshiva University High School, and later led me through NYU, Harvard, and medical school with a specialty in sports medicine and foot surgery. Alongside my medical career, I’ve spent over 30 years teaching Jewish studies in yeshivot.
In the early 2000s, I formed a life-changing friendship with Rav Shalom Arush, whose wisdom shaped my approach to dating and marriage. Six years ago, I retired from medicine to dedicate myself fully to coaching singles and couples on building successful relationships. With over 500 lectures on www.torahanytime.com, 400+ articles, and the zechut to facilitate more than 1,500 matches, I continue to serve as a mentor to people worldwide. I spend my mornings teaching and my afternoons and evenings advising individuals on dating and marriage, often into the late hours.
